Airport Ahead of Schedule
The earthwork portion of the new Panama City-Bay County International Airport is three months ahead of schedule! The completion of this state-of-the-art facility has captured the attention of savvy investors all over the world. The implications to you as an investor in real estate in this area are not to be overlooked. The new airport is the first to be built since 9-11 and is being groomed to accommodate an international market and the shipping industry.

Officials want the $330 million facility to be an "aerotropolis", drawing flights and business to the area. John Kasarda, who coined the phrase, and is the pre-eminent expert on economic development around the airport has been hired to facilitate this goal.

John Kasarda will be speaking at the conference, "Stimulating the Economy with Transportation, NW Florida's Gulf Coast 'Cleared for Take-Off'", which is scheduled for October 15-17, 2008 at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.
