Am I required to have a Wedding Event Coordinator?

Grande Pointe requires that all brides have a professional Wedding Event Coordinator to direct
the rehearsal, ceremony and oversee the reception. The Coordinator will also be responsible for
all vendors providing services during your event.

Do I have to use Grande Pointe preferred vendors?

Our preferred vendors are familiar with our rules and regulations and can help ensure that you have a quality event. You are not required to select from our list but all brides are required to use licensed vendors.

How late can our reception extend?

Out of respect for the residents of Grande Pointe and in keeping with the Walton County noise ordinance we require that all events close down by 10:30pm and that all outdoor music cease by 10:00pm.

How many people can the Pavilion accommodate?

The maximum capacity for the Pavilion is 218 persons. If a bride chooses to have her wedding ceremony inside the Pavilion it can accommodate two hundred seated guest easily.

Where do we park for the wedding?
|

There is a small parking lot located outside the Pavilion that can accommodate a small event. Guests are allowed to park along the roadways as long as they do not park on the grass or block a resident's driveway. Also, Walton County's largest beach access is located a short distance from Grande Pointe where there is ample parking to coordinate a shuttle service if needed.

What can be used as a "throw" when I leave my reception?

Approved throws for Grande Pointe brides are bubbles and rose petals. Due to safety, sanitation and ecological concerns Grande Pointe does not allow confetti, rice, birdseed, glitter, balloon drops, bird releases or fireworks of any kind.

Can the Pavilion be rented for events other than weddings?

The Pavilion is a perfect location for anniversaries, birthdays, engagement and dinner parties. The Pavilion has a boardroom perfect for intimate gatherings or set up your event in our main room for larger parties.
